Our local community has formed a charity to purchase part of Buckenham Woods, an ancient woodland and county wildlife site in rural Norfolk (UK), and to become its caretakers.

Having raised over £70,000 from grants and crowdfunding to purchase and maintain this land, we now need to invest in access, interpretation and wildlife surveys to inform and implement a management plan to protect and enhance the woodland and its enjoyment by the community and visiting public.

Good news! Buckenham Ancient Woodland trust is now able to collect Gift Aid from all donations

Gift Aid is a government scheme for UK charities to reclaim the tax that you have already paid and gain 25% more at no cost or hassle to the donor. That means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give.

We were unable to collect Gift Aid on all donations made before 15th January 2024, this includes donations made via the Just Giving website. However, the good news is we can claim it retrospectively with the approval of the donor.

We would love to try and claim as much Gift Aid against donations to the Buckenham Ancient Woodland Trust made before 15th January 2024.
