We invite you to lend a hand in Buckenham Wood as part of our ongoing woodland management plan. We will be scheduling more days soon, and we’d love for you to join us for one—keep an eye out below. These work days are a great opportunity to connect with nature, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference to the health of Buckenham Wood.

Where to meet:

•  Meet the volunteer coordinator by the BAWT noticeboard. Located on the northern boundary path.

Possible tasks:

• Removing sycamore saplings

• Moving brash

• Edging paths with natural material

• Clearing vegetation around seating

• Cutting back vegetation encroaching on paths

Each session will support different aspects of our woodland management plan. While the specific tasks are still being finalised, they may include some of the things listed above. We’ll share more details closer to each date, (including times) so you’ll know what to bring and how to prepare.
